President of Kazakhstan visits Azersun Production and Logistics Center
Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited Azersun Production and Logistics Center in Aktau upon his arrival to Azerbaijan. The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and member of Azersun Holding Board of Directors Tahir Gozel informed the Kazakh leader about the activity of the center. Economy Minister said that the Center is equipped with modern technologies and makes its positive contribution to the further development of existing economic relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. During the visit, the head of state and the Azerbaijani delegation held fruitful discussions, and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev set due instructions to the state officials for conduction of necessary works to enhance development of trade relations and expand the activity of the center. It should be noted that Azersun Production and Logistics Center, located in Kazakhstan’s Aktau, was built in line with the agreement reached by the presidents of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in 2013 during the meeting held as part of the 3rd Top Summit of Cooperation Council of the Turkic Speaking Nations. After the ground-breaking ceremony held in 2014, the center was completed and commissioned within a year.
