GAZAKH CANNING PLANT WAS PUT INTO OPERATION IN PARTICIPATION OF THE PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV

On April 12, opening of Gazakh Canning Plant within “Azersun Holding” took place. The opening happened in participation of the Head of the Country Mr. Ilham Aliyev. The President Ilham Aliyev launched the company and watched the production process. The chairman of the board of “Azersun Holding” Abdolbari Goozal gave detailed information of the company.     

For the first stage, it planned to produce 5 thousand tons of frozen fruit and 2 thousand tons of pickles and vegetable. In the second stage, it is planned to launch new lines for production of about 6 thousand tons of potato, 3 thousand tons of grapes for vinegar, 3 thousand tons of pickles and grape leave. This production line will be only one in Caucasus and allow keeping fully ripen fruits and vegetables for long term by quickly freezing them and presenting to consumer as product ready for use in any season of a year.

The canning products and frozen fruits to be manufactured will not be provided only to internal market, but also exported to foreign countries. The raw material will not only be produced locally, but also supplied from the Georgian regions where the Azerbaijanis resides compactly. And this will allow providing our natives residing at the neighboring country with job and improving their financial well-being.  

The President Ilham Aliyev talked to the employees of the plant, met with the company, and then wishing the team successes, gave his instructions and recommendations.
